NEW YEAR’S PICKS
Torchlight Parade | Breckenridge

Breckenridge Torchlight Parade & Fireworks | New Year’s Eve
One of Breckenridge’s most iconic New Year’s Eve traditions returns to Peak 9! At 6:00 PM, ski and snowboard instructors descend more than 1,000 vertical feet carrying glowing red torches, transforming the mountain into a dazzling, tree-shaped display of light. Before the main event, Kids ages 5 to 13 years old are invited to participate in a kid-friendly parade, the festive Glow Worm Parade.
The celebration continues with a spectacular fireworks show launched from the base of Peak 9 beginning around 9:30 PM. The 15-minute display lights up the mountain skies and can be viewed from Blue River Plaza, Main Street Station, the base areas of Peaks 7–9, and scenic overlooks like Boreas Pass and Baldy Road.
A classic, high-energy way to ring in the New Year—Breckenridge style.
